My Brothers and Sisters of FOP98. I have been doing this blog for a while and also the web site. I have been honored and proud to maintain these sites. There comes a time when you have to say "why bother". I attempted to pass on information to the masses. I tried to bring up morale with postings. I attempted to engage a discussion of issues using postings. Comments? There were a few, I can count them on one hand.
I currently am in charge of 4 Blogs and 3 websites and it seems like that list will be growing shortly if two other projects takes off. The others have interaction, This one, MY BABY, does not.
So what is it going to take? The Elected Positions need to pass on INFORMATION in a timely fashion for postings. If the information is not fresh then people will not check the sites. Members, you need to become involved in your lodge! Even if it is checking the sites and leaving comments. I perfer you attend a meeting also, but.........
We as a LODGE, cannot acomplish anything if we just sit around and piss and moan. I have been very disappointed in the lodge members lately. If a board member calls and ask you to help a fellow brother out by taking him to a doctors appointment, would you? Would you give up your time for a service project like assisting an elderly person by repairing their home? Would you give up some free time to assist in a Lodge event or Lobbying in Austin?
These are some really hard questions that you as lodge members needs to ask yourselves. Only then will the true BROTHERHOOD show.

with the bulletin board being used again, the lodge will be able to point out more info on the web site. the web site is great and a great tool. keep up the good work!
