These are images from the METRO operation to evacuate people from the Webster area. At approximately 12 hours before landfall the tide was already flooding some priers and low lying roads.
The Nassau Bay Hilton became Media Headquarters. It was funny to see the reporters down at the waters edge or standing in the water as they were doing shots.
